Wednesday Shop Hop!

It's Wednesday, so it must be time for an etsy shop hop - where we share with you a few of the etsy shops that we love, and tell you why. Ready?

First stop today is Flea Fever, a French etsy shop run by our friend Myrthe, who has an amazing eye for retro, color, and kitsch and who makes international shipping a piece of cake - kitschy cake, of course.

Her items are always so much fun, and often tug on Kay's heartstrings and mine as baby boomers.

She has kitschy stuffed critters for children of all ages ...

Arcopal galore - European pieces that are hard to find here in the States ...

Vintage French gardening magazines from the 1950s ...

Vintage tins ...

An adorable hungover bloodhound music box that plays "Singing in the Rain" ...

Vintage French decor for your home ...

More vintage tins ... more Arcopal ...

Vintage postcards ...

You can also visit Myrthe in her other etsy shop, French Fairy Tale, where you'll find even more vintage French cuteness in the form of toys, books, games, and other treasures ... and find her on facebook at Flea Fever Finds, as well as at her blog.

Ready to hop?  Here we go ... on to Grandma's Vintage Bling, where the owner, Sarah, who juggles being a new mom with running her etsy empire, says, "I love old things ... Different elements from many different eras intrigue me, especially if it involves elegance, grace, and femininity."
Sarah has amazing vintage home decor items, a lovely selection of vintage kitchenwares, fabulous vintage costume jewelry that, yes, really did belong to Grandma ...

Some sweet Homer Laughlin mid century modern serveware ...  Royal Staffordshire China in lovely shades of brown on white ... luscious vintage porcelain plates and bowls ... and my personal favorite, a set of salt and pepper shakers in the form of an upright piano!

Sarah also has a wonderful blog, which you can find here, and a fun facebook page here.

Our final hop stop today is North Highlands Art, where Laura - talented artist and mom to twins - offers for your consideration her absolutely stunning artwork in graphite and colored pencil, not only originals but greeting cards and prints.

Her horse artwork is beyond breathtaking - any horse lover will be enthralled!

You can commission Laura to create a custom portrait of your pet...

Browse through her large selection of blank greeting cards ...

And take a look at her wonderful watercolor birth announcements and nursery art!

Laura blogs here, and you can find her shop on facebook here - drop by and tell her we said hi.

Thus concludes our first weekly etsy shop hop - hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
